Soul Samurai Logo, from Tor.com
Dear gods of stage combat, please grant me the means to see this show:
Soul Samurai is the joint work of Ma-Yi Theater Company, which is devoted to “develop[ing] new plays and performance works that essay Asian American experiences,” and Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company, which tends “towards the creation and production of new works of theatre based in stage combat, dark comedy [and] a comic book aesthetic.” While both of these goals are fulfilled to some extent, VCT’s is certainly the more prominent of the two, especially their allegiance to comic books: every fight scene seems to have at least one freeze-frame that obviously would have been that issue’s splash page.

Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella from ThinkGeek
I’ll be moving to Vancouver come September, so I’ll need a new umbrella. So, if anyone is looking for the ideal going-away gift for me, look no further.
The rain falls softly.
The samurai draws his sword.
Look, an umbrella.
ThinkGeek :: Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella
And Nick Oddson suggested this one. Also an excellent choice for those with a higher budget for my gift: The Unbreakable Walking-Stick Umbrella
Our Unbreakable Umbrella has no unusual parts, no more metal than an average umbrella, it does not arouse suspicion, can be carried legally everywhere where any weapons are prohibited, unlike a walking stick it does not cause strange looks if carried by an able-bodied person, and it does protect from rain. Anyone who can use a stick for defense can use this umbrella.

Got up 8am, very restless night
Gainer, Workout, Gainer
Wednesdays brainstorming day. Every Wednesday, sit down with one other person – either an employee or someone in your industry – and write down 10 ways you can build more business with existing customers, or get new ones. Don’t worry if you repeat week to week.
Go back over Macbeth cues (erase aiff files from itunes, re-export existing files from Garage Band with Normalization OFF)
Pick up and install TV
Gainer, bed around 1am
